Allison Muth is a Facilities Project Manager with Facilities Planning & Development at Texas Children’s Hospital.  She has responsibility for budgeting, planning and project delivery in the Austin market. Allison is a licensed architect and Interior Designer in Texas and a NCARB certificate holder.  She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Texas Society of Architects, the Austin Chapter AIA, and the Construction Owner’s Association of America (COAA).

Allison is a 1996 graduate of Virginia Tech where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the College of Architecture.  Prior to joining the healthcare industry she spent many years in traditional architectural practice and was involved in all phases of projects at architectural firms in both Washington, D.C. and Houston.

Her career in healthcare began with facilities project management at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2003.  Her leadership in project management quickly resulted in her ability to manage the entire project management program and continue the successful project delivery for all construction and renovation projects within the Texas Children’s system. Her passion to align project management with facilities standards created an effortless transition of the Facilities Interiors and Logistic Programs under her Leadership in 2011.  With the on-going growth of Texas Children’s, she spent 2016 thru 2018 focused on strategic planning efforts to develop future growth and relocation scenarios which included the development of space management guidelines to respond to the rapidly growing Organization.  As a result of a family relocation to Austin in the Fall of 2018, Allison now brings her 20+ years of experience on strategic planning, project delivery, and partnerships to assist with delivering new facilities in the Austin market.

Allison has participated on the Committee on Architecture for Health – AIA Houston and served as the President for the Construction Owner’s Association of America Texas Chapter from 2015 thru 2019.  She was elected to serve on the COAA Board of Director’s in November 2017 and was named President of COAA in April 2019.
